Estancia
Our bales are small square, but they are 42 inches long instead of
the approximately 36 inches long that most other farms bale. That
is simply because our stacker won't handle the shorter bales.
Consequently, our bales average 75 - 80 lbs. We bale primarily
alfalfa, although we've had alfalfa mixes, oat hay, and winter wheat
on previous occasions. Best to just check with us on that one! Our
prices vary due to economy fluctuations, however they have held
pretty constant at $6.00 - $6.50/bale for the last two years.
Delivery is available. Currently, we charge $1.00/bale to deliver
and stack, but again, that is at the mercy of gas prices! We can be
